Here is the bird closer in case you couldn't see him. Posted by Hello

So there is a vent right next to where my computer is, i thought it was for the air conditioning but it just goes into the wall, so maybe it's for if the shower leaks or something because the shower is on the other side of the wall. Anyway, this morning i was eating breakfast reading caleb's blog and i heard a fluttering sound that sounded like it was coming from my computer. So, I thought "oh great there is a cockroach in my computer." I looked around inside it but I didn't hear or see anything else. Then I heard it again and it sounded higher this time, so I thought it was my external hard drive crapping out or something until i saw little gray things poke out of the vent. Well, I just thought it was a moth so I left and went to school. Anyway, I came home later and now I heard the fluttering even more and then i saw feathers pop out of the vent. So I screamed for Cassie because she takes care of the scary stuff in our apartment. She took the vent off and sure enough there was a baby bird in there. He was scared of us though so we watched the hole until he jumped out and then Cassie caught him and took him outside. Anyway, I got a picture of him. His mom was waiting for him outside, so don't worry, he's ok.  Posted by Hello

today

Today I got a new refridgerator, took an Engineering test and watched 2 hours of Planet's Funniest Animals on Animal Planet. The funniest animal was Bina. She was sitting with us and looked up at the TV and saw a cat that looked just like her, and then she kept watching and then she got up and got closer to the tv and was totally watching it. It was weird. She stopped though when the commercials came on and we couldnt get her to do it again.

rain in my room

So apparently my window leaks. I was sitting on my bed doing my homework listening to it rain. I guess the wind was blowing right at my window because the rain was hitting it hard. So I was thinking, what would happen if it started hailing and it broke through my window and rained all over my stuff, and it is then when i looked over and i could see rain drops on the corner of my chair. Sure enough, my monitor, my camera, my phone, my lamp, my desk, my window sill were all soaking wet. It wasn't hail though, my window just naturally leaks on it's own. I'm not sure how, somewhere at the top isn't really connected though and the rain came right in.

So I dont think anything is broken, my monitor was still on when i turned it off and unplugged it and dried it off so it is probably ok. My phone is still on, so it's probably ok. My most prized possession of the things that got rained on is my camera. I took the battery out and dried it off so hopefully it will be ok. Luckily the rain didn't angle itself over to my computer because that would have been real bad, and the surge protector is over there too and I don't think they do well with water.

Anyway, I guess I'll go to the office in the morning and let them know. They were also supposed to bring us a new refridgerator too but they never called us back, so I'll ask them about that too.

As for the rest of my day, I got up, went to my crappy Tuesday classes (I don't like Tuesday classes so much, mainly ENGR 211, Math is Ok but i hate ENGR), and came home and ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Then I went to the rec with cassie. I ran a whole 2 miles! That's the most I've run ever and it amazes me because I haven't run more than 5 times since 7th grade when they used to make me run. Then I went to Below the Belt where we did a million squats, lunges, and other super-uncomfortable-leg-hurting-I-want-to-stop-but-they-wont-let-me exercies. Tomorrow my legs will be killing me, I can already feel them being stiff now.

Cassie made Cheesy Chicken Enchalada soup for dinner. She said it didn't turn out as good as the first time she had it, but I thought it was good, maybe I'm just too used to cambel's soup. I watched scrubs, but I think i missed the last 3 episodes because for some reason Carla was mad at Turk but I didn't know why, and I don't know what happened to JD's girlfriend. So, if someone could hook me up with those episodes, that'd be great.

Because my room flooded I only got to study one section of ENGR instead of the 3 that i had originally planned so tomorrow guess what I will be doing.

And with that, i'm going to bed.

Now this is an interresting picture. Posted by Hello
My little cousins had come to visit us one summer and we bought them this little pool so they wouldn't drown in the big pool. For some reason the little pool ended up in the big pool and we realized that it made a nice boat. This was our first inspiration for experimenting with putting inflatable children's pools in the big pool.

That is victoria, Jeff, and Me, by the way.

Today I injured myself at the Rec. Here is a picture of my Band-aid. That is Harry Potter if you didn't know and his wand glows in the dark. Posted by Hello

That is cassie's cat, Bina. She's sleeping on my baby blanket, yes i still sleep with it. I need it to curl around, that's the only way I can sleep. Posted by Hello

spring break

So someone thought i must have done something interresting over spring break that i could blog about. Trust me, it wasn't interresting.

I played the Sims 2 new expansion pack and i watched my sims do their homework while i was avoiding my own.

I watched 2 Mansfield High School Freshman baseball games. My little brother is on the team. They won both games and even beat the Summit High School freshman baseball team. Summit is our rival incase you didnt know.

I went shopping and got new pants and shirts and a jacket.

I slept.

I ate at bella vita in rendon because apparently the one in mansfield caught on fire, so we had to drive all the way to rendon to eat italian food. We've got this new restaurant in Mansfield called mexican inn. Like 5 times when we were going out to eat we would drive by and say it looked to busy, cause it looked really busy, but one night we broke down and just waited. It was pretty good, but it'll be better when On The Border comes.

I left my hard drive in Mansfield though. I miss it.

And now i'm waiting for a confirmation e-mail from the women igda mailing list to i can send to it. apparently they wont let my messages go though because i'm registered with kmcippant@tamu.edu and not kmcippant@neo.tamu.edu. Stupid neo.

I'm done now. If i had my hard drive i'd post a picture, but i dont have it. Maybe i'll take one... maybe.

Coding break

So, i'm taking a coding break. Marc and I are trying to get our comp sci project done before spring break so we wont have to worry about it. So I've been coding off and on since I got home from school today. I just need to figure out a good way to output a tree so you can see it in a treeish way and then I'm finished with my part. Programming assignments are one of those rare homework assignments that as well as everything goes pretty good it gives you more energy. Like, if I continually solve little problems one by one it makes me excited, like i am accomplishing something. However, if you get stuck then it's a drag if someone to help you isn't online. But, this is very different from Engineering or Math homework that just seems to go on and on forever, and so what you solve a problem, you just have to go on to the next.

Anyway, I had something I was going to talk about. I forget what it was now. Dangit, oh well, i'll talk about something else.

Yesteryday Cassie and I found a roach in our laundry closet. We looked at it, and screamed for a while. It was up in the top corner climbing on a bottle of some laundry stuff. Cassie being the resourceful one she is, grabbed a bottle of WD-40 and proceeded to poison our yucky intruder with it. Then when it wasnt moving so much anymore she threw the bottle out the door and it went away. I cheered her on from the sidelines.

OH yeah, I was going to talk about Firefly.

So, many of you probably heard the rantings from Greg about how good Firefly is. And then you may have heard also from Brandon and Jacob how good it is. It is really really good. I have watched 12 episodes of it. The problem is only 14 episodes were made, which means I am almost done. Jacob gave me the DVD with it on it on Saturday, so i have spend a great deal of time watching it the last few days.

But now I am worried. What if i watch the next 2 episodes and they kill off the entire cast. That would just be devistating. Or what if the last episode is just crappy and i'm disappointed. I can not decide if i want to spend the rest of my life knowing there is no more firefly out there, I might just be better off stopping now. Firefly is not like Scrubs, my other favorite show, where they make a new episode every week almost so I will never be disappointed with the searies finale. Sure, eventually Scrubs will stop, but hopefully that happens way after I have lost interest. Firefly ends for me in 2 episodes and I think maybe I should just wait a little while before i watch the end. Maybe i'll go back to the beginning and start over and then when I get to the end of episode 12 agin I'll be brave enough to watch the last 2.

I need to be finished by September when the movie comes out though. So, maybe I'll save the last 2 for right before the movie so I'll be really excited. That sounds like a good idea, what do you think?

I also like this picture Posted by Hello

And on my streak of random pictures... Here is a picture of Erich's coffee. Posted by Hello

That is christmas day in Ohio. It snowed, then rained, then froze the day before, so the trees are all icy. It was pretty. Posted by Hello

So instead of posting a picture of myself or my apartment i'll post something totally different. This is my backyard in New York. One time my brothers and I pretended to be gophers. We dug these gopher paths and then at the end of each we had our own gopher homes. Thinking back on it now, it seems like a lot of work. As you can see from the next picture the snow was pretty deep. Anyway, this is what all you people who grew up in Texas missed out on.... not much. I hate snow. Posted by Hello

This is a closeup of it. As you can see the snow is really really deep. Posted by Hello

I guess i'll blog

I was going to tell my brother he needs to update his blog. But I realized I hadnt updated in a really long time, so here ya go.

So it is finally the end of the week. This one wasnt so bad. I had two tests, but one was monday and one was today. The monday one, CPSC 311, i dont think went very well. The Today one, POLS 207, was super easy. I say it was super easy but every time i get my hopes up on a test i fail really badly, so we'll see.

Hmm, i cant think of anything to blog about.

I went to the rec today and did Yoga. I thought it was kinda boring. All we did was move around in annoying positions that hurt my knees or my palms or everything. I dont see why they offer so many Yoga classes at the rec every day, those spots could be filled wtih more step n sculps or body blasters than stupid yoga.

Anyway, i'm done blogging now.

I guess, i cant ask if I should be an art major if you dont really know what my brother looks like. So this is what he looks like. What do you think? Posted by Hello

So, since I can't think of anything to Blog about, and now that I have this awesome Hello thing i'll just show some random pictures. This is a picture of a picture I drew of my older brother at one of those restaurants with paper on the table somewhere in Pennsylvania over Christmas. So you guys think I should quit computer engineering and be an art major? Posted by Hello
